- For a while I've been having a reoccuring System Failure code pop up.
- Usually it involves running various programs (which never run right...for
- instance, a few games, some demos, and software packages like CNet).
-
- It's always along the line of: 8000 000x (where 'x' can be just about
- anything)
-
- I've had some hardware trouble in the past, but I had replaced a faulty
- CIA chip and a resister that had fried (near one of my chips..dang,
- forgot what it is too. It's the farthest on the left rear side of an A500).
-
- Here's what I've got: A500(revision 5?), M-Tec 68020 accelerator, Bodega
- Bay Zorro slot chassis, and I'm running with WB 2.04 and appropriate
- Kickstart.
-
- Anyone have _any_ ideas? This problem has been killing me for about a year
- now and I have hardly enough money to pay for tuition let alone a new
- Amiga. :(
-
- Thanks!
- -Jeff
